Helping businesses and charities to be better

Make Your Mark UK helps businesses and charities to be better: offering expert help and support tailored to your needs to help address the problems and challenges you are facing.

Key services include:

  • Training – bespoke courses on a range of topics aimed at increasing the knowledge, skills and confidence of participants as part of their continuous professional development or as fundamental aspects of their roles.

We are always over the moon that those who have been on our courses constantly report an increase in knowledge, skills and confidence as a result of attending.  For example:

I’ve been to many of Mark’s workshops since being a member of the Doncaster Chamber. They’re always insightful, easy to follow and often entertaining. I’ve learnt a lot from Mark from each session and I thoroughly recommend any businesses to attend one in the future.” (Emma Gullon, Social Media start up)

We can provide workshops, half day or full day sessions to your staff, management committee or trustee board on a wide range of topics, for example: networking skills; pitching skills; time management; using LinkedIn; event management; managing risk; grant fundraising; understanding yourself and others; fundraising strategy; developing your business idea.

  • Consultancy – you know things are not right, but may not be able to put your finger exactly on the problem?  We will take time to explore the worries you have, the challenges you face and ways of making it better, without the need for a magic wand!  We offer a ‘health check’ approach and then making recommendations on improving responses to your challenges.  We can also help with specific pieces of work such as tender writing where you may not have the expertise or capacity to do it yourself.
  • Facilitation – planning and facilitating staff away days.
  • Strategy review & development
